- In this article, we will show you how to use ReadSpeaker, the text to speech feature available in Canvas

- From your Dashboard, click the course card for the course you want to work in.
- Click the Modules tab. For some courses, this may also be the Home tab.
Then select a lesson.
- There are two ways to use ReadSpeaker if it’s available for a lesson.
- Click Listen at the top of the page.
Then the text will be read to you. Click the X to close ReadSpeaker.
- Highlight the text you want to be read.
Then click Listen.
Then the text will be read to you. Click the X to close ReadSpeaker.
